Aliens Arriving – daily prompt

If aliens arrived tomorrow, what’s the first thing you’d ask them?

Probably if they have Starbucks on their world.

I might even deign to ask if they eat their young or those over 70.

I’d also ask if fish can talk on their world.

Having asking those questions using ASL, being Deaf, I’d ask if they understood my questions.

Seeing my hands fly as I signed each question, the aliens would be angered: “Speak you damn fool!” they’d yell at me, I would shrug “What you say? Me Deaf! Do you have Deaf people on your world?” I’d retort, in ASL.

(Obviously they don’t…)

They would become frustrated at my inability to verbalize my questions, pull out some fancy-schmancy ray-gun and blast me into dust motes.

So, I really hope no aliens arrive tomorrow… I’ve got plans and don’t want to tossed aside like yesterday’s yellowed Depends.

Thanks for reading!
