Hi folks,

Congratulations to Spain!

I’ve watched a few games and the final was darn good!

Here are some thoughts:

• I really like that FIFA gave recognition to the Refs, those guys get a lot of negativism, so it is nice to their hard work being recognized!
• I also like the fact that before each game, and after, all players shake hands with opposing players and refs. That is sportsmanship!
• I see the same thing in Canadian Football League (CFL) after games. Players embracing players from the opposing team, coaches seeking out coaches
• but that sort of thing never see that with NHL. It only happens during the Stanley Cup playoffs when one team wins and the other is eliminated to the golf course.
