Today’s word of the day is…

Pellucid

If you look closely, you’ll spot the word lucid lurking in pellucid… if you know what lucid means, clearness, easy to understand, then you can figure out pellucid must mean something is clear, or transparent.

Theo forgot to shut off the water after he brushed his teeth last night. Mary almost slipped on the pellucid water as she rushed to turn it off.
