Today’s word of the day is…

Decorous

This adjective is best described as being polite, proper, in a given situation.

Examples:

  • The youngsters were decorous and attentive while the DeafBlind guest talked about being DeafBlind.
  • Chuck guzzled chocolates, candy and sweets, while the other guests nibbled decorously.
  • Barry, realizing his choices were inappropriate for the Gender Reveal Party, decorously excused himself. He returned in a matter of minutes fully clothed.

Craig MacLean is DeafBlind with ataxia, a rare condition called CAPOS. He & his wife of 22 years have two sons, the oldest of which has CAPOS as well.

Craig uses American Sign Language to communicate. He is an avid writer, friend, Hot Wheel collector and intervenor advocate.
