Today’s word of the day is…

Anemic

This refers to an adjective, it describes a thing…

Because the root word is Anemia, which is a medical condition wherein a person has a shortage of healthy red blood cells. These cells carry oxygen to tissues right? Because this the person may be more tired, less energetic, and maybe lacking of colour to the skin.

Thus, anemic refers to colourless jokes; being anemic can also mean the person is “white as a sheet” – fear reaction.
