Craig’s Word of the Day #3

Today’s word is:

Augur

This is a tricky word to define; truth be told, I was nonplussed on proper useage of this word, so I asked a friend who is a retired English college professor.

Augur basically is a fancy verb that indicated foreboding, either good or bad.

Here is my original example:

“I am awaiting an email from a specific person, the answer will augur well for my mother.”

There ya go!

Have a great day!
