Hey everyone! Are you still with me!
Last blog I talked about my Lyric memory and how some songs will pop into my mind for no reason. Songs that I have heard before, that I listened to constantly. Like Fleetwood Mac’s “Dreams” or Billy Joel’s “You may be right.”
My mind stores the actual person signing, and when I recall, I hear him or her. I can’t get my head around someone else singing it.
In terms of Crazy Train, sung by Ozzy Osbourne on his debut solo album Blizzard of Ozz (1980), I never grasped any lyrics beyond “All Aboard… hahahaha” when I would listen to it druing the 80’s. Yet, now, I’ve put Ozzy’s distinctive vocals with all the lyrics.
And, look what I found…
Crazy, I just cannot bear
I’m living with something’ that just isn’t fair
I’m living with something’ that just isn’t fair
True, Crazy Train focuses on people living with Mental Health issues, yet, this fits me as well. My disability, CAPOS, is not fair.
It is not fair that I cannot work to support my family.
It is not fair that I my balance, vision and hearing are deteriorating rapidly.
It is not fair that I hear weird lyrics screaming in my head for on reason.
It is not fair that I miss a lot of vital information…
But, do I complain? No, I do the best that I can with the tools God gave me!
Thank you listening!
