A story

Hi folks!

My other son has a weird cold or flu or something like that.

So he is off today too…

It was determined to bring him to a walk-in clinic to see a doctor…

However, walk-in clinics have changed dramatically since COVID-19, walking INTO a clinic and seeing a physician within 30 minutes has been outmoded! An appointment is still needed!

The last time I went to a walk-in clinic, I had to wait 2.5 hours!

Mother-in-law volunteered to take my son to see the doctor today, Monday. She tried to call the Walk-in clinic, but got no answer. She had been calling for quite sometime this morning, no one was picking up…

So, she decided to walk to this clinic. “I’m going… blah blah …then back…” was what she told me.

I wasn’t actually sure what she meant… she could’ve gone to get the mail?

I decided to call the Walk-in clinic using IP Relay (internet relay), because sometimes I seem to get through to a receptionist without much issue, while other callers are ignored… weird right?

To make a long story short; I called, booked an appointment for my son, hung up, then texted my mother-in-law…

…who had just entered the same place!

Wild eh!

It is sunny out, so it wasn’t a total waste of energy for Belle-Mère!

Thank
