Craig’s WD #47

Today’s Word of the Day is…

Spissitude

Earlier this week, I was looking at words that ended with Tude when I spotted this gem! Naturally I had to define it for you…

It’s basically a thick or dense liquid, in terms of density.

My coffee had a spissitude quality, thick and chunky, like tar. I choked it down, having no other alternative, either that or strangle the cat… my morning had to get better!

Thanks for reading!

  1. Most of the words in your Word of the Day feature are words that will hardly ever be used.
