Today’s Word of the Day is…

Malodorous

This adjective describes something that has an awful smell, it stinks, it is unpleasant and you want to either hurl your cookies or move to the next room, block or country!

I read a news article years ago: residents complained to media about the malodorous fumes coming from a mushroom farm, the smell of fertilizer and shit was so strong, so disgusting, the value of the land depreciated. I seem to recall the residents started litigation against the farm.

That is one use of malodorous, here is another…

“Go have a long hot shower, your malodorous stench is peeling the wallpaper off my iPhone!”
