DeafBlind moment #184

Oh my, hi guys!

Just a quick blog as I had a cup of java at 8:30 PM!

Teenagers, gotta love them right!

One of my teenagers is hard to wake up 0.in the mornings, and sometimes he stinks!

On a day recently, he was like a rock, I’d wake him up, only for him to hit the snooze button for a couple more minutes!

Who has teenagers? Go ahead, raise your hands! That’s a lot of hands!

Anyways! That morning; he left for school late. Then 25 minutes later, I also left; I had to bring a stool sample (ottoman?) to the lab for testing.

I motored to the eastbound bus stop, which is the same bus stop my kid uses, his school is in the same direction as the lab I need to go to… Speaking of my kid, why is he standing by the bus stop pole? He did leave 20 minutes ago, so what’s he doing still here?

Using the best clear voice I’ve used in a long time, I called out: “Hey Dude! Why are you still here?”

That dude was startled, and that dude was a lady!

She gave me a quizzical look, probably saying something like “Pardon?”

When I realized my son was not in front me, I quickly chuckled and explained to the lady that I thought she was my son.

She probably giggled or cracked a smile, thinking what a dope I was!

And soon we returned to usual bus stop nonchalance.

Pretty funny eh?

Gee, that’s for reading, liking and your time!

Have a great sleep!
