Can you move?

Hey folks!

How are you all today?

How many of you take the bus? Let’s have a show of hands… 1, 2, 4, 9, 14, others in the back… you too!

Seems quite a few… good, you should know your bus etiquette!

Let me refresh your memory:

  1. If a person with a mobility device is getting off the bus, kindly do not black way.
  2. Exit the bus is always better.
  3. Then, move to make room for passage!

Today, I could not believe that I had to ask a coterie to make way so I could exit the bus.

The bus pulled up at its stop, then at least 5 people stormed inside, as if there was a swarm of killer bees right behind them!

I called out: “Move, please!” Some tried to go around me, but I was a formable foe, there was no wiggle room.

So, as one, they shuffled back the way they came.

Yet, did this group split so I could pass through? No! They stood there like a pack of goombas, milling around, staring wide-eyed at me.

I yelled again; “Move!” and they finally parted, I was able to get out! Finally!

Did they expect that I could do something like this? With a walker!

Thanks for listening and chuckling!

Have a good day!
