Craig’s WD #34

Whoops, the 11th Word of the Day actually has two entries. So I just promoted it to #34!

Enjoy!

Today’s Word of the day is…

Apoplexy

This medical term means a loss of consciousness or incapacity due to brain hemorrhage or stroke.

This is actually quite interesting word choice; in the book I am reading the author uses apoplexy to refer to incapacity of a group of people: This group reached an age when their mental abilities were becoming foggy. That is the long way, the short way to say it would be to use “apoplexy.”

Aah yes, that makes sense.

Thank you for reading!
