Today’s word of the day is…
Apocryphal
The definition talks about biblical text that is not part of the bible; sort of like the fabled Book of Mary Magdalene…
However, I found this word in a book that had nothing to do with the bible.
Okay, I am trying to put this in words to understand.
There is ONE accepted doctrine, it should be formal, yet someone tries to tell it a different way.
Yes, I think that is right.
So, in that case: the original Star Wars was the best, right. But now Disney+ is adding a lot of stuff to that… some might be super far fetched, and crazy.
In Star Wars, A New Hope, we see Obi-Wan just collapse with a single whack of Darth Vader’s lightsaber. Yet, in the Revenge of the Sith and the mini-series Obi-Wan Kenobi, Old Ben fights, uses the force, and so forth, with aplomb!
I mean, what? How did the Jedi Master become someone who could barely hold a lightsaber?
That could be apocryphal, because it is a different take on events.
All done!
Again, if you disagree, please let me know!
