Craig’s WD #7

Today’s word of the day is…

Paean

So, you just had a really great time over the weekend, the food was above superb, every meal was an adventure in culinary arts, every drink was masterfully prepared, even the cortado was perfection! You felt inebriated with love and appreciation from everyone on-board, you and your guests felt at peace, restful. Your 60th birthday event was a great success, costly, but who cares! You just spent two days (and a boatload of money) on a super yacht anchored in the calm waters in a tiny cove somewhere in the Georgia Strait.

Being such a grand time — and costing many grands — you, post-birthday slowdown, write a glowing letter to the owners of the yacht, thanking them for their hospitality, gushing that you will recommend the yacht to your (richer) friends, apologizing for forgetting your thong in the jacuzzi…

Basically what you did was you wrote a paean!

Thank you for reading!
