Writings about Ataxia, being DeafBlind, family life. The best life can offer!

Let’s talk about …

Well, intervenors!

Yes, let’s talk about their important.

An Intervenor is a professional who works with DeafBlind persons.

If you’ve been following this blog, you’d read a lot of good, and bad things, about intervenors.

So, I won’t redundant myself.

However, I do need to tell you that unless something drastic happens, Intervenor Services will close up, again!

DeafBlind Community Services, under CNIB, has been running one of BC’s two intervenor services since June of 2022.

Funding is running out, and the government of BC has not committed to continuing this vital service!

If Intervenor services closes, DeafBlind community is back in stone ages, struggling.

Stay tuned, I’ll blog more about it.

Thank you for reading!
