Craig’s Word of the Day #4

Today’s word is

Somnolence

This fancy-pants word means a craving for sleep… or someone who sleeps longer than normal.

I remember going to a DeafBlind weekend camping trip with a bunch of DeafBlind and Deaf friends. I shared a tent with a Deaf friend who slept almost 14 hours! Everyone else at the camp was up at 8, eating breakfast, we took a hike, went swimming, and this guy was still snoozing away! He was having a somnolence problem!

Thanks for reading!
