Jolt Cola, the search

In the mid 1980s, way before Red Bull graced the market, there was Jolt Cola.

A single can packed a wallop! 100% sugar and twice the caffeine!

Oh my!

It was available in Canada. I remember fondly my dad buying several 12 pack cases, much to the chagrin of my mother.

Fun memories! It was sugar & caffeine high! POW!

Time moved on, things changed and Jolt Cola was forgotten.

By the 90s, I guess, Canadian government wised up to the potential of this “energy” drink; and changed rules or something. Jolt Cola being sold in Canadian stores became as scarce as Campbell’s Turtle Soup!

Now, it’s 2024 and I’m craving this drink, for the nostalgia of it, not the energy.

I found a store that sells every drink from around the globe… But no Jolt Cola.

Could they order it for me? Yes and No… Yes, but only DIET Jolt Cola. A watered down drink that boasts half sugar and 3/4 less caffeine. Umm No Thank You.

I’d rather drink an old can of New Coke that someone hid in their cellar for close to 45 years!

Alright, my plea to my readers; IF you know where Jolt Cola is sold in Bellingham, Please advise!

If it is NOT in Bellingham, but some other city, state, country, hemisphere, world, galaxy, please let me know! I’m sure it could be mailed…

I’ve checked http://www.joltcola.com, but it’s a dead site.

I thank you in advance.

Thank you also for reading this blog! It was a lot of fun!
