Writings about Ataxia, being DeafBlind, family life. The best life can offer!

Oh the adventure that was yesterday!Part 1

Alright! Mondays can be a pain in the ass right?

Who can attest to that?

Well, my Monday, yesterday, was darn tooting amazing!

I had been nursing a bad cough for a day or two, yet I was able to ignore it.

My first stop of the day, after seamlessly sending the boys to scholastic endeavours, was a 10 AM appointment for Registered Massage Therapy.

I arrived at 9:59, pulled open the door, propped it open, as I usually do, with my right foot as I slowly enter the biz. But I didn’t move my foot as quickly as should have, it got stuck and twisted!

Ouch! I yelped, audibly saying “fuck that hurts!” The pain was obviously bad! Yet, I managed to park inside, hobble into the massage room, getting onto the massage table. My RMT did her thing, ankle hurt less when I left.

I recommended that she ask the clinic to get an automatic door.

Thanks for reading!

Tune in to Part 2 tomorrow!
