Happy Camper

How are you today?

It’s always nice to be happy on how you get around town, a new car, a new pair of shoes, a new understanding, a fixed powerchair!

Remember that I ditched my power chair 20 months ago? Time sure flies!

Since then I’ve had so many problems with the joystick and the mounting device, the whole mechanism, was driving me nuts! Pun intended.

Loose screws, lousy grip, low bar, jerky driving and numbness of my right arm were common problems that i dealt with daily!

Not fun at all! Driving had become a chore, not a pleasure.

Today was glorious, all these problems, and more, were fixed!

Tech services came with a new joystick housing, plus a new mount. And the fellow spent an hour putting it all together with masterful efficiency!

Gone is the ineffective moveable joystick mount, replaced with a simple, yet elegant bar of steel! The whole thing does not move at all!

So, I am pretty happy about that! Tomorrow I will be even more happy! I’m going to cruise in the sunshine!

Thanks for reading!
