Calling 911

Hi there again!

I have never had the privilege, or is it a necessity , to call 911 for an emergency.

Have you?

If you are Deaf-Blind, Deaf or disabled in anyway, and have experiences with 911, or Text 911, I want to hear from you!

I am looking for specifics like: you called 911 for an accident in the home, a toaster oven fire, or home invasion. How did you communicate with the 911 Operator? How did you explain the situation to the operator? Did you have any issues, or concerns?

Why am I asking?

I am will be attending a meeting to look at ways to improve 911, to make sure those who are DeafBlind are not overlooked.

Whether you live in Leeds, UK, Prague, CZ, Seattle, WA, Sydney, AU, or Toronto, CA, I look forward to hearing from you!

If you share your experiences with me, I will be greatly appreciated!

To be clear, I am looking for positive and negative experiences using 911, or Text 911.

Thank you for reading, sharing and replying!
