Writings about Ataxia, being DeafBlind, family life. The best life can offer!

Christmas 2020

Christmas greetings from the MacLean’s to you…

Christmas is drawing near,

and things are crazy this year…

It’s important to think of, especially now,

Christmas isn’t tied up in a bright red bow!

I guess Dr. Seuss said it best,

(Yes, I’m on a poetry quest…)

He hadn’t stopped Christmas from coming! It came!

Somehow or other, it came just the same!

As you can see, not even The Pandemic

can stop Christmas, it’s spirit is gigantic!

Our gatherings might be limited to family,

yet, we’ll all survive, if we play gamely.

2020 could not be forgotten,

it started with celebrations, good & rotten.

After awhile, troubles arose, worldwide,

we all needed to adjust, to flatten the curve, to hide.

The world, now masked, slowed down to a crawl, yet time was untorn,

things happened anyways, school went virtual, babies borne.

So, things slowed down a bit, wear your mask,

wash your hands, sanitize, is all we ask!

Let’s hope that is enough to get us back to normal,

Whatever that means to you, lets not quarrel!

May your 2021 be filled with brightness and love,

May it bring you new opportunities unheard of!

From my family to yours, warm wishes for Christmas and a happy New Year!

All the best for 2021!

Love to you from us🎄🌿❤️💚❤️💚
